"No Damage" is a family saying meaning essentially meaning ever forward never back.
Growing up in Arcata California my father’s band was named No Damage. The name expressed a philosophy of confidence and resolve. People liked it so much the local baseball team, The Barnstormers, adopted it as their slogan. When he became their pitcher it was stitched into the jerseys by my grandmother , the great seamstress, and artist, who gave me my first painting lessons.
I grew up hearing my role models saying this and believe it today. In essence, '"Everything will be alright."
In my art practice the slogan is the source of my logo, apparel projects & digital illustrations.
